Are you benefitting from YouTube marketing?

YouTube is now the second largest search engine, with Google being number one, of course. It might be handy to know that Google also owns YouTube so I guess it gets a little hand up in the search engine rankings as well. The question is: does your business, a) have a YouTube channel or b) are you using YouTube to market your business?

In relation to the first, we’ll cover that off in another article. Today, let’s talk about your marketing on YouTube even if you don't have a channel. In the past we’ve talked about using your website copy, data capture, online lead funnels, Google AdWords, Facebook Custom Audiences and Remarketing, which are all an essential part of your online marketing strategy.

As with anything, supply and demand determine price. Whilst there are exceptions, Google AdWords has become a little expensive (considering businesses aren't using this correctly), as has Facebook building “Likes” (again, use a professional to help you in this area for better bang for your buck).

Right now YouTube is extremely cheap, with the ability to get your message out for around 5c or FREE!

Here’s How:

I’m sure many of you have seen YouTube videos where they have that annoying “intro commercial”. But do you jump to another clip? No of course not, you’ll sit and watch the 5 seconds, albeit with the mouse hovering over the “skip in 5 seconds” button. Well, you have the opportunity to place targeted ads for free, using this 5 second opportunity.

Simply ensure your script packs a punch in that first 5 seconds, as your ads are targeted, the audience should be receptive of your message and its benefit to them. Your job is to get their attention - and quick! As an example, mine would look like this:

“Hi, I’m Yale From Better Business Group. If you'd like 100 sales generating tips for free, just jump over to www.betterbusinessgroup.com.au”.

Then the rest of the 5 seconds would go into a sales copy that is of interest to them. Hopefully, you’ve pricked their ears, and they just go “click!”. Importantly, make sure the page you give them, goes directly to the landing page with the offer, and the offer is by download so that you can grab their name and email address and continue to market to your potential customers.

To Your Business Success

Cheers
